Leslie Punter studied at Falmouth Art School in the 70s before heading off to Sicily to work in marble under the direction of a master craftsman.
He has combined his creativity with commerce and was responsible for designing the mannequins for Jaeger and Per Una range at Marks and Spencer.
Leslie has been working in recent years as a freelance sculptor with Madam Tussauds and balances this with private and public commissions.
He has exhibited extensively across the UK and was awarded the prestigious Freakley prize for portrait sculpture in 2009 for his portrait of 'Miss Mabey'.
Leslie has taken a number of public commissions and works primarily in bronze and occasional interpretations in carefully selected wood.
